Get ready for a full day of live, local Memphis tunes at East Buntyn ArtWalk! Here’s the line-up:

HANK AND NORA 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Hank and Nora sing classic country, vintage standards, and Memphis music accompanying themselves on guitars. They enjoy performing gospel numbers, 1940’s Frank Sinatra and Texas swing, classic country such as Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, Beatles, songs of the 1960’s, and Memphis music including Elvis and Johnny Cash. Some of their material is fun and humorous. They can often meet requests from their audience. “It is very important to show the residents how much we appreciate meeting them and being there to share our music. We interact before, during, and after the concert with residents and their guests, making the event much more special for us and hopefully for them.”

RENAULT BROTHERS 3:00pm – 4:30pm

The Renault Brothers are a Memphis based acoustic duo featuring David Joseph Virone and Richard Lester.  Winners of The Memphis Flyer’s 2015 Best Male Folk Duo, the Renault Brothers can been seen playing frequent gigs in Midtown honky-tonks and coffee shops.

Tequila Mockingbird was formed by accident when a friend needed some live music played at his restaurant. Friends Joe Hardin, Kevin Kilgore, and Tom Wilson joined together to help a friend out and have been playing ever since. The band, named after a mispronunciation of a favorite movie from Joe’s child, jams mostly classic rock, outlaw country, and a little bluegrass thrown in too.
